Testing of glass jars in contact with food

1. European customers will ask us to do the following tests:

• -Migration analysis conformity to CE 10/2011
•  -Food contact conformity to CE  1935 from October 27th 2004
•  -Raw materials conformity to CE  1935 from October 27th 2004
• -Conformity to Regulation 94/62/CE on glass container
• -Conformity to Regulation 2007/68/CE on allergen substances absence
• -Conformity of absence of Genetically Modified Organisms

But glass is exempt from inspection, only need to do Glass Leachable lead (Pd) and Cadmium (Cd) Test and Sensory test is enough.

2. US customers will be more direct, just do Glass Leachable lead (Pd) and Cadmium (Cd) Test and meet FDA requirements.

The raw material for producing glass is silica, which is sand.

All the sand comes from the river. We neither pollute the water source nor mine ore near the water source, so there is no sand pollution at all.

Therefore, all glass produced in China can easily pass the Glass Leachable lead (Pd) and Cadmium (Cd) Test.
